I want to dedicate this post to the question many soccer fans ask themselves these days, at least if they have a Playstation or Xbox…
Fifa 10 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2010?
This is the annual question every soccer fan has to ask himself. To be honest, there are long ago two parties. You can’t like, or even play, both. Consequently, most of the fans have already decided, which game they like more and is quite difficult to change these opinion, but nevertheless I want to take a look at both games and try to tell you which one is better (I won’t tell you, which one I prefer, you might notice
).
I will try to be as objective as possible, but I won’t analyze it like a tester, because then you could also buy one of those magazines.
I will rather tell you what the advantages of both games are to help you making a decision. For those of you who are not familiar with both games, here you have to short videos with scenes out of the games, to get a first impression:
As you might have seen, the graphical differences are not very big, because PES made a great step forward; nevertheless I think Fifa looks a little bit better.

Looking at the gameplay (the most important thing in my opinion), PES has a slower game tempo, than last year, which makes it even more realistic. Fifa has more or less the same tempo, but when I played it (for five minutes) I always lost the ball, a real run duel seemed impossible for me. Furthermore the tricks, which are admittedly very nice looking, are an important part in one on one situations, what is not very realistic in my eyes, because it seemed to be essential two win a one on one situation…
I just mishandled the stick and in one of ten cases I managed it to pass my opponent. Maybe it is just my inability, but I like it the more realistic way without 500 step-overs…
Another important point is licenses. What should I say? Fifa definitely beats the pants of PES. Fifa got it all, the Bundesliga, 2. Bundesliga, Premier League, whereas PES has about four leagues.
But in a few weeks, some NERDs will have spent all their time on correcting the names in PES, as well as created new leagues and even authentic jerseys.
All in all, Fifa has the better visual appearance and more licenses and maybe some better play modes, but PES definitely has the better game play and ball physics, which always create new curios situations and spectacular goals and this is the most important thing to me, because these games will only make fun if you play them with your friends! Well I might be subjective, so take this post as an adviser and come to your own decision depending on which points are the most important to you.
You might leave a comment and tell me which game you prefer…

Watch this funny video from the last Premier League matchday
If you have such fans, you won’t need enemies
He’ll be well advised to leave Liverpool as far as he can… British supporters could get angry quick, especially when something costs them the championship
Hey there,
Before I start, I quickly want to sum up, what you can expect from this blog in the future:
I will keep you posted about the Bundesliga and what happened in European soccer.
Comment and analyze it a bit. Maybe I will post my bets for the upcoming Bundesliga matchday, which you can comment.
For today, I selected Herthas downslide and a funny news about Cristiano Ronaldo.
Nuremberg – Hertha BSC 3:0
Another poor performance by Hertha…
The eighth loss in the last eight matches. I can see some parallels to Tasmania 1900, which managed to relegate from the first division in 1965/66 with only two wins and more than 100 goals against.
But is this slide really a surprise? Not really! Looking at the last few season, you may recognized the strange staffing policy. Okay, they are broke, but does it make sense to give all talented players away for free? Let me give you some examples:
At the end of the last season, they did not renew the contract of Marco Pantelic, even though he had some conflicts with the coach, Hertha could have seen, that they would not get a better player for less money. Instead they signed Arthur Wichniarek, who scored four goals in 44 matches during his last Berlin visit. You may anticipate how many goals he scored so far. Right, zero!
More examples are Ashkan Dejagah, Christian Müller and Chinedu Ede.
Nevertheless, this is no excuse for the performances this season. It seems like, some players preparing their goodbye.
We will see what the new coach Friedhelm Funkel can do, to bring Hertha back on track. I will keep you posted.
But there was not only Bundesliga this weekend. Congratulations to our German National Team for qualifying for South Africa!
I wanted to show you this news:
It says that Cristiano Ronaldo has been bewitched by a Spanish magician. This magician, calling himself Pepe, said, that a women paid him 15000€ for breaking off his career. But another magician, Fernando Nogueira, got the mission to override against the black magician Pepe.
And what happened? Cristiano harmed himself in the match against Hungary and has to pause for at least four weeks. Not the end of his career, but a funny coincidence.
We will see, what Nogueira can do, maybe a miracle healing?

Welcome to my blog!
Before I start blogging myself, I want to recommend you another blog:
It’s a German blog, which deals with everything around football in Germany.
It analyses the games, before and after it has been played. Nothing special so far… But if you read the post of these three guys, you will notice, that they are not really objective and neutral. They don’t hesitate to introduce their own oppinion in a very ironic or sarcastic way.
This is very funny to read and makes football news also interesting for footballhaters, at least more interessting, than Sport Bild or something like that
Nevertheless, there could be more comments, so give them your feedback!
